WHEN:         September 4, 2010

TIME:           7:45 a.m. - 1 Mile Fun Run
                    8:00 a.m. - 5K Walk & 5K Run
WHERE:        Manito, IL Begins and ends on Washington Street by Veterans Park
COURSE:       3.1 mile, on flat blacktop streets, electronically timed
SPLITS:         1st and 2nd miles, water at 1.5 miles
ENTRY FEE:   $13.00 - Advance registration (2 weeks before race), $14.00 - day of race
                     $1.00 - 1 Mile Fun Run

Fun Run:     Medallions for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places from Manito area.
5K – Run:    Medallions will be awarded to overall Men’s and Women’s winners, the first three in each age

                  group, and the first three from the Manito area.
5K – Walk:  Medallions for Women’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall; Men’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, and 1st,      

                  2nd and 3rd person from the Manito area.

The races are part of Manito’s Annual Popcorn Festival. The Parade follows the race award ceremony. There will be a variety of food and game booths in the park all Saturday and Sunday.
