POPCORN FESTIVAL TALENT SHOW
Date: Friday, September 3, 2010
Time: 7:00P.M. (tentative) Contestants should check-in prior to 6:30 behind stage.
Rules: This is an amateur talent contest. Each Contestant is limited to 5 minutes. CD's are
preferred, but tapes that are set at the beginning of song will be accepted. Music must be
turned in by 6:30 behind the stage.
Scoring: Judges decision is final. Three judges will score the contestant on a 1-5 scale on talent,
stage presence, selection (age and language appropriate), entertainment value and
audience appeal.
Prizes: Ages 3-7, 8-11, 12-15, 16-older will be awarded cash prizes to top three acts.
An overall winner will also receive a cash prize.
Please remember this is a "family festival" when selecting your music. No vulgar language or inappropriate themes. The Talent Contest reserves the right to refuse any contestant not meeting these criteria.
Entries will be received by mail or e-mail only. The deadline to enter is Tuesday, August 31, 2010
